The host of one of the American late-night shows ridiculed the US President Donald Trump’s Asian tour, noting that the day was simply wonderful because the head of state was not in the country. The video of the jokes was shared by the Telegram channel Pool N3. US President Donald Trump flew from Washington to Kuala Lumpur late in the evening on October 24. According to media reports, within six hours of landing in Malaysia, where the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit was held, Trump announced trade agreements with four countries. The head of the White House also met with regional leaders and held talks with the President of Brazil. A meeting between Donald Trump and the head of China, Xi Jinping, is expected on November 30, and the American leader has already stated that he is confident in reaching an agreement with Beijing. “It was a wonderful day here in America because Donald Trump is not in the country. What should we call it? He is on a business trip. He is on a business trip to Asia,” the host of the American late-night show noted. He ironically remarked that during the Asian tour, Trump “is going to tear down the Great Wall of China and build a ballroom there,” hinting at the US President’s decision to redevelop the White House. “He is making stops in Japan, Korea, and Malaysia, where he began the trip this weekend,” he pointed out. Commenting on the dance moves that Trump performed upon arrival in Malaysia, the TV host noted that it looked like “a toddler refusing to put on a sweater.” It should be recalled that the US President danced a traditional Malaysian dance with the artists who met him upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur.
