Six criminals committed a robbery at the precious metals processing lab at Pourquery Laboratory, located in Lyon, France. This was reported by the publication Le Progres. Witnesses of the incident said that the robbers arrived in a car with a siren and used explosives to break the windows of the lab. The actual robbery lasted seven minutes. “There were several men, possibly three or four, armed with automatic weapons… We saw them load the stolen items into a small truck and then escape,” Le Progres quotes the eyewitnesses. As a result of the attack, five factory employees were injured. The value of the stolen precious metals is estimated at twelve million euros. Later, French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez reported the detention of all participants in the crime. Two of the suspects in the Louvre robbery partially confessed to committing the crime. Previously, unidentified individuals broke into the Louvre and stole jewelry from Napoleon’s collection. The robbery took the criminals only seven minutes. The estimated value of the stolen jewelry is 88 million euros.
