Samsung has introduced a fresh update for Galaxy AI Snow Brief, adding an interesting feature: image generation using Nano Banana. For those unfamiliar, Nano Banana is a compact yet highly advanced artificial intelligence from Google designed for creative photo editing. The user selects a picture, specifies the desired change, and then the algorithms transform the image themselves—whether it’s changing the background, atmosphere, or even completely altering the scene. Nano Banana is already integrated into the Google Gemini ecosystem and available on Galaxy smartphones through the corresponding application. However, with the latest update, Samsung has gone further: Now Brief now features a dedicated card that allows image creation using Nano Banana. The program automatically selects a random photo from your gallery—most often a selfie or a portrait—and offers several transformation options that can be applied with a single tap. After updating the Personal Data Intelligence application via the Galaxy Store, a new toggle switch responsible for activating the Nano Banana feature will appear in the Now Brief settings. If enabled, the smartphone will select a random image from your collection daily and, concurrently with generating the daily summary, offer you an opportunity to experiment with the AI editor. The selected photos can be quite varied: from your self-portraits to pictures of pets. Simply choose one of the prompts, and the Gemini application will send the photo to Google servers, where the artificial intelligence will transform it according to your wishes. The final result can be saved or immediately shared with friends. It is worth noting that the resulting images are not always perfect—AI generators sometimes make mistakes. Essentially, Now Brief simply automates photo selection and suggests options for creativity to add a little fun at the end of the day. For those who prefer full control, there is an option to manually edit pictures through Google Gemini: simply select the desired photo and enter your own prompt. Furthermore, the AI image creation function is also embedded in Galaxy AI Drawing Assist—here, you can either refine your own sketch or create an image from scratch based on a text description. Access to these tools is provided through the Edge panel, making the process as convenient as possible.
