Data has emerged about SpaceX’s new plans: the company is considering June 2027 as the target date for the first uncrewed landing of Starship on the lunar surface. Both dates depend on the successful completion of a key experiment: in June 2026, SpaceX plans to test orbital refueling—the transfer of propellant between two Starship vehicles.
