According to space research expert Joanna Syryda, the damage to the Shenzhou-20 spacecraft was caused by a collision with space debris, which is becoming an increasingly serious threat to space missions. Shenzhou-20 will remain in orbit to continue its experiments. Tiangong is designed for a long-term stay of three people, while accommodating six is only allowed for a short time. Despite the issue with the spacecraft, the astronauts—Chen Dong, Wang Jie, and Zhang Zhuzhou—are in good condition and are preparing for landing in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
