American actor, director, and producer Tom Cruise was awarded an Oscar for outstanding achievements in cinema. Along with Cruise, honorary statuettes were received by actress and choreographer Debbie Allen, set decorator Wynn Thomas, and singer Dolly Parton, who was recognized with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. Throughout his career spanning over 40 years, Cruise has starred in dozens of films. In addition to “Oscar” nominations, some of Cruise’s works have been honored with a Golden Globe award.
