A jury in the United States found porn actress Devin Michaels guilty in the murder case of her ex-husband, real estate agent Jonathan Willett. This information is reported by American media outlets. According to the investigation materials, Michaels’ marriage to Willett lasted from 2012 to 2018, and after the divorce, the woman married his son. On August 6, 2023, the deceased’s mother discovered Jonathan’s body wrapped in blankets. The body was decapitated, and the remains had been chemically treated. During her testimony, Michaels stated that she struck her ex-husband with a blow “similar to a candlestick strike” while giving him a massage. According to her testimony, the man immediately stopped showing signs of life. She then separated his head, transported it in a laundry basket, and disposed of it. Neither the murder weapon nor the severed head or any devices that could have been used for dismembering the body were found. The defense counsel insisted that the woman could not physically have decapitated a large, well-built man on her own and alleged her innocence. In 2024, Michaels made a plea deal and admitted her guilt, hoping for the possibility of parole after fifteen years. However, at the time of the final verdict, she again declared her innocence. Consequently, the case was sent to a jury trial. She now faces a sentence of life imprisonment.
