This gap is noticeable when connecting to various networks worldwide. Experts attributed the improvement in speed parameters to the new N1 chip installed in the iPhone 17 devices. Journalists from The Daily Express noted that this feature of the new phones works as an unannounced option. “Globally, the average download and upload speed with the N1 chip was 40 percent higher than the previous model,” informed Ookla maestro Luke Kiho. According to the expert, this characteristic, directly related to the release of the iPhone 17, was recorded immediately after the start of sales of the new devices. Subsequent reports confirmed the iPhone 17’s lead over other devices. Previously, Bloomberg reported that the creator of the iPhone Air, Abidur Chowdhury, had left Apple.
