This is reported by CNN. The publication itself states that, in order to prevent a significant weakening of support among Republicans in the House of Representatives, Trump has begun actively promoting a bill that will require the Department of Justice to make public unclassified documents concerning Jeffrey Epstein. CNN also recalled Trump’s recent statement that he recognizes the impossibility of his re-election for another term. The publication concludes: “Combine this sentiment with the fact that Trump recently admitted that his name will not be on the ballots in 2028, meaning he will not be president in 2029, and you have every reason to talk about a ‘lame duck’ presidency.” Earlier, on November 19, Bloomberg reported that the White House administration is trying to avoid Donald Trump being perceived as a “lame duck,” which is why the head of state regularly jokes about the “rivalry” between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance.
