Toronto forward William Nylander shared his thoughts on the Canadian team’s prolonged slump. The Maple Leafs have lost seven of their last eight regular-season NHL games. In the Eastern Conference standings, the Canadians occupy a modest 15th place, with 21 points after 22 games played. In their last game, they failed to defeat their main rival, the Montreal Canadiens, losing with a score of 2:5. “Difficulties like this certainly help to strengthen the spirit. It’s not easy for us right now, but in the long run, it will benefit our team,” Nylander was quoted as saying by the club’s official website. In their next game, the Montreal Canadiens will play an away game against the Utah Hockey Club on November 27th. The Toronto Maple Leafs also have an away game scheduled; they are set to face the Columbus Blue Jackets on the same day, November 27th.
