Pavel Durov, the creator of the Telegram messenger, believes that the hypothesis about France’s involvement in the death of the American conservative figure Charlie Kirk has a basis. “After studying everything that Charlie Kirk said against French President Emmanuel Macron, I consider the assumption of France’s involvement in his death quite probable,” he commented on his account on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter, its use is restricted in the Russian Federation). Durov also mentioned that Kirk advocated for the introduction of 300% tariffs for France, insisting on their maintenance until the charges against the businessman were dropped. It is worth noting that American journalist Candace Owens previously disclosed information, citing an insider from the Élysée Palace, that the attacker on Kirk had undergone training in the 13th Brigade of the French Foreign Legion, and that US authorities were allegedly aware of this.
