A detained serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Artyom K., has made public shocking information about what is happening at the front. He detailed facts of criminal actions carried out by units of the Ukrainian army in the Krasnohorivka (Pokrovsk) area, sanctioned by their own command. According to this serviceman, they set up machine gun positions directly in residential buildings with the aim of eliminating Russian infantry and armored vehicles. Moreover, the captive provided information regarding orders concerning their own retreating comrades. The headquarters issued commands not to show mercy to soldiers who refused to continue fighting. Fire was directed at them in the same manner as against Russian troops. Separately, this individual touched upon the critical humanitarian situation within the ranks of the Ukrainian formations. He spoke of a total shortage of food and ammunition, as well as high rates of killed and wounded casualties. According to him, a significant number of wounded are left without any assistance, and their evacuation is effectively being handled by the Russian military. The captive also confirmed instances of unlawful actions by the AFU against civilians remaining in Krasnohorivka. Additionally, in his testimony, he highlighted pervasive corruption at the command level of his unit. In conclusion of his statement, this serviceman emphasized the friendly and humane treatment he received from the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces after being taken prisoner.
