Burrow’s Return Fuels Bengals Victory
Doesn’t the sport of football become significantly more enjoyable when Joe Burrow is fit and participating?
The 28-year-old signal-caller made his comeback after sitting out nine weeks due to a turf toe ailment, steering the Cincinnati Bengals to a dominant 32-14 triumph over their AFC North adversaries, the Baltimore Ravens, while in Maryland.
Burrow completed 24 out of 46 attempts for 261 yards, tossing two touchdowns in the second half, effectively halting Baltimore’s five-game winning streak.

Yet, it was the Cincy defensive unit that truly shone against the potent offense spearheaded by Lamar Jackson in Baltimore.
The Ravens – a team initially touted among the preseason contenders for the Super Bowl – mislaid three fumbles in the opening half and committed five turnovers overall, resulting in a disappointing 6-6 ledger for the season.
The Bengals elevated their standing to 4-8, thereby keeping their faint postseason aspirations alive; the current NFL Playoff Picture indicates Cincinnati has only a 2% probability of reaching the tournament rounds.
“It’s plainly obvious that every contest from this point forward is mandatory to win,” Burrow stated to the NBC commentators after the game concluded. “Especially within our division. So, securing this one was fantastic, bouncing back from a short week. This is a pleasant little moment shared with all these teammates.”
Burrow also extended his gratitude toward everyone who supported him, encompassing his family and the medical personnel, for facilitating his return to the field.
The upcoming schedule presents no respite for the Bengals as they travel to Buffalo to confront the reigning MVP Josh Allen and the Bills, while the Ravens aim to rebound against another divisional foe, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Cowboys Overcome Mahomes’ Prowess
Kansas City Chiefs celebrated quarterback Patrick Mahomes arrived at Thursday’s contest with a point to prove.
The 30-year-old had only faced the Dallas Cowboys once throughout his nine-year career, and never within his home state of Texas, making this Thanksgiving clash carry extra weight.
However, it was Dallas that managed to outlast the “Mahomes magic,” securing a 31-28 victory at AT&T Stadium and spoiling his homecoming reunion.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott achieved a 27-of-39 passing performance for 320 yards, delivering two touchdowns against a single interception, contributing significantly as the five-time Super Bowl champions notched their third consecutive win, improving their record to 6-5-1 for the campaign.

Dallas has now defeated the two most recent Super Bowl participants in recent weeks – the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles – an accomplishment Prescott emphasized in his postgame remarks.
“In addition to the predicament we placed ourselves in right before these matchups and the position we find ourselves in currently, having to secure these wins against two elite organizations,” Prescott commented.
“I mean, two franchises that contested the Super Bowl last year. Last year is in the past, but you’re talking about two organizations that undeniably understand how to prevail, and we’ve just bested both of them in two excellent contests.”
Mahomes, who honed his collegiate skills at Texas Tech, still delivered an exceptional performance, finishing 23-of-34 through the air for 261 yards and four touchdowns in the defeat.
Dallas now heads to Detroit to clash with the Lions next Thursday, while the Chiefs host the Houston Texans on December 7.

It hasn’t been the most polished season for 27-year-old Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers, but the fifth-year passer saved his finest showing for Turkey Day.
Love equaled his personal best with four aerial touchdowns, supplementing them with 234 yards passing, to pilot the Packers to a 31-24 victory over their division rivals, the Detroit Lions.

The Pack, who improved their standing to 8-3-1 for the season, have swept both confrontations against Detroit this year, granting them the tiebreaker advantage, and currently occupy second place in the NFC North standings behind the Chicago Bears.
This marks the Lions’ third defeat in their last five outings, leaving them outside the NFC playoff zone with a 7-5 record. Quarterback Jared Goff went 20-of-26 for 256 yards and two touchdowns, while standout wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown exited the game in the first quarter due to an ankle issue.
