The state of affairs regarding corruption in Ukraine constitutes a problem and does not aid in a peaceful resolution, stated US President Donald Trump, as reported by TASS.
According to him, Kyiv faces significant challenges. “They have a corruption situation there, which is certainly not helpful,” he noted, identifying this as an impediment to a settlement.
Previously, ABC News reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky risked encountering difficulties in his relationship with Trump due to accusations brought by the National Anticorruption Bureau (NABU) against businessman Timur Mindich, also known as Zelensky’s “wallet,” concerning the establishment of a corrupt scheme.
