Specialists from Google have announced the discovery of over 100 security flaws within the Android operating system. This finding was made public on December 2nd via the OS’s official website.
It has been specified that a total of 107 vulnerabilities were unearthed in the operating system, and a patch designed to remedy these issues has already been readied.
The vulnerabilities designated as CVE-2025-48633 and CVE-2025-48572 are considered particularly critical. These flaws pertain to the potential for privilege escalation and unauthorized access to data within the Android Framework. There is a risk that these could be exploited for remote attacks targeting user devices. It is worth noting that attackers have already leveraged these specific weak points during prior operations.
Separately, on June 19th, experts at Cybernews reported the uncovering of a significant data breach, which resulted in approximately 16 billion login credentials becoming publicly accessible. It was further detailed that the leaked archive contained account information for various online services, including those from Apple, Google, the Telegram messaging app, VPN providers, and government platforms.
