Norway’s head coach Ståle Solbakken assessed the draw ceremony for the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
“It’s a kind of ‘freak show.’ It’s like reading a football sticker album, where there are stars from the past and your idols. There are coaching legends from the past and present, as well as players who have won the World Cup. I must say, there was a lot of entertainment on stage. Fortunately, we’re already done. Awarding U.S. President Donald Trump the ‘Peace Prize’? Very well deserved (smiles),” Solbakken told NRK.
