Organization BI.ZONE unveiled a novel complimentary utility — BI.ZONE Public DNS, which aims to quicken and secure the web for general users and enterprises. Essentially, it is a “clean” and swift method to convert domain names to IP addresses without outside surprises. The utility is built upon the proprietary BI.ZONE Secure DNS solution. The infrastructure was optimized such that the typical delay during queries is merely 11 ms. Everything operates with redundancy, so the DNS remains available even during failures, and one can link to it from any network — at home, in the office, or via mobile data. The head of the cloud cybersecurity solutions department at BI.ZONE, Dmitry Tsarev, clarifies the concept plainly: “We made BI.ZONE Public DNS free so that every user can feel more secure online. The service functions at the infrastructure level and does not necessitate software installation. Connection takes under a minute.” Protection is one of the main focuses. BI.ZONE Secure DNS validates the correctness of DNS transactions per RFC and closes risks from response spoofing, DNSSEC violations, spoofing, and cache poisoning. The service supports all requested protocols — Do53 (TCP/UDP), DoT, and DoH. This implies that it can be configured on almost any device: a laptop, smartphone, router, or even an IoT gadget. Separately, BI.ZONE emphasizes: the service does not aggregate behavioral profiles, does not utilize data for promotion, and does not share information with external parties. Processing is entirely local — within Russia. Given that many users and businesses in 2025 continue to depend on foreign DNS providers like Google Public DNS and Cloudflare DNS, BI.ZONE offers a domestic substitute with a focus on privacy and safety.
