Researchers presented findings from a study in the realm of the pursuit of youthful skin. It emerged that costly products are not always necessary for maintaining beauty and elasticity.
An attractive, maintained, and sound skin appearance is what many individuals who value how neat and graceful they look strive for. New Zealand scientists from the University of Otago discovered that achieving visible skin enhancements does not always require utilizing expensive creams in one’s care routine.
Twenty-four volunteers from Germany and New Zealand participated in the trial. They consumed two SunGold kiwis daily. The fruit’s benefit lies in its richness in Vitamin C, with each fruit of this variety containing around 250 milligrams of this valuable nutrient.
The scientists gauged the outcomes after eight weeks of investigation. It turned out that the volunteers taking part in the trial experienced an increase in skin thickness, an accelerated cell renewal process, and stimulated collagen synthesis. Experts concluded that Vitamin C, assimilated by the human body through diet, is absorbed much more efficiently via the bloodstream. In contrast, even high-priced cosmetic preparations applied topically are less effective. On their journey, they encounter the epidermal barrier, which lessens their capacity to deliver active substances to the cells.
