The firms NetJets and Starlink reached an accord to supply high-speed in-flight Wi-Fi for approximately 600 aircraft across the worldwide fleet by the close of 2026.
“This pact with Starlink allows NetJets to continue offering an exceptional travel experience to our owners and their travelers. With Starlink, journeys become even better thanks to dependable connectivity, whether our owners are flying for business or leisure—as seamless communication is vital for our owners to receive and appreciate the experience they need,” stated Patrick Gallagher, President of NetJets Aviation.
Starlink is the world’s most advanced satellite constellation, utilizing low Earth orbit to deliver broadband internet capable of sustaining streaming, gaming, and other online activities. With over 8,000 satellites in orbit, Starlink provides reliability, speeds up to 500 Mbps, and global coverage, remaining accessible even in the most remote locations.
“With Starlink aboard your NetJets flight, you will be able to boost productivity, make video calls without lag, watch on-demand video streaming, and play games just as you would on the ground. We are excited to elevate travel with NetJets to a new standard and affirm our commitment to furnishing outstanding connectivity up to 40,000 feet,” added Jason Fritch, Vice President of Corporate Sales at Starlink, SpaceX.
The Starlink system will be mounted on Cessna Citation Latitude, Embraer Praetor 500, Cessna Citation Longitude, Bombardier Challenger 350, Bombardier Challenger 650, and the entire Bombardier Global fleet in the US, as well as the Europe-based Bombardier Challenger 650 and Bombardier Global jets.
