21-year-old Ivan Miroshnichenko missed the start of the season due to an injury and was subsequently assigned to the “Hershey Bears” to regain playing condition. He has not yet taken the ice in the current NHL regular season.
It should be noted that in October, “Washington” extended his contract for two years, setting an annual salary of \$925,000.
23-year-old Bogdan Trineev played two games in the current NHL season, recording no points. He was recalled to the main squad on December 7 due to an injury to American forward Ryan Leonard. For the “Hershey Bears,” the Russian played 16 games, tallying 12 (6+6) points based on the “goal+assist” system.
Currently, “Washington” occupies second place in the Eastern Conference standings with 42 points.
