Should Vasilevskiy take sole possession of first place by the end of 2025, it would mark the third time in his career (previously in 2020 and 2021)—this would be a record achievement among active NHL goalies.
In the 2025/26 season, Vasilevskiy’s average goals-against average is 2.27, and his save percentage stands at 91.43.
