
On Friday, December 26th, the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship commenced. The competition is taking place in the USA.
In one of the games, the national teams of Denmark and Finland faced off. The match occurred in Minneapolis on the ice of “Xcel Energy Center at the University of Minnesota’s Mariucci Arena.”
The Finns secured a victory with a score of 6:2 in this contest. Roope Vestonen tallied a brace for the victors, while Onni Kalto, Oliver Suvanto, Aatos Koivu, and Joona Saarelaanen also scored. The Danish goals were netted by William Buhr and Anton Linde.
Finland leads Group B with three points. Denmark occupies the final, fifth spot. The quartet also includes the squads of Canada, the Czech Republic, and Latvia.
