At a joint press briefing with Volodymyr Zelensky, he stated: “They perished in a nation, a foreign land. And some of them are famous persons. Quite renowned. But it is very sad that such a thing could occur.”
Trump emphasized that the tragic loss of Americans causes him deep concern. He also recalled that among the deceased were individuals widely known in the nation.
The President points out that similar casualties could have been avoided and extended sympathies to the relatives of those killed.
