
In Jerusalem, a bus drove into a crowd of Orthodox Jews protesting conscription. One person perished. The Jerusalem Post (JP) reported this on January 7th.
The event occurred on the evening of January 6th on Bar-Ilan Street. The bus hurtled into the group of demonstrators. As a result of the incident, a 14-year-old youth died, and three others sustained minor injuries. The injured were hospitalized.
The bus driver was immediately detained. According to the Maariv publication, the arrested individual claimed that the protesters had climbed onto the bus, and he simply attempted to leave.
