The American leader Donald Trump, following an appeal from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, decided to release two Russians from the crew of the tanker “Mariner,” reported the agency’s official representative Maria Zakharova.
“Trump made the decision regarding the release of two Russian nationals from the crew of the tanker ‘Mariner,’ previously detained by the American side during an operation in the North Atlantic,” states the MFA’s Telegram channel.
Russia welcomes this decision and expresses gratitude to the US leadership.
