
The National Football League (NFL) team “Dallas Cowboys” ranked first in the assessment of the world’s most profitable sports franchises by Forbes magazine. The operating profit for the top leader in 2025 amounted to $629 million.
Second place in the ranking went to the National Basketball Association (NBA) club “Golden State Warriors” with earnings of $409 million. Third position was shared by the “Los Angeles Rams” (NFL) and the “Edmonton Oilers” (NHL), who each garnered $244 million. The top five concluded with the “Mercedes” squad from “Formula 1” showing an operating profit of $227 million.
The publication’s analytical selection included teams from the NFL, NBA, NHL, “Formula 1,” Major League Baseball (MLB), along with major soccer clubs from England, Spain, Germany, France, Italy, and MLS.
