American ice dancers Madison Chock and Evan Bates became leaders after performing the rhythm dance at the national championship in St. Louis. Their performance was scored at 91.70 points, significantly surpassing their competitors.
Second place was secured by Emilia Zingas and Vadim Kolesnik with a result of 85.98 points, third by Christina Carreiro and Anthony Ponomarenko (83.29). Other strong duos follow, including the returning Maya and Alex Shibutani (10th place, 71.24 points).
The US Championship takes place from January 7 to 10 and serves as the qualifier for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan. Based on its results, the country’s representatives will be determined: three men, three women, two pairs, and three dance teams.
