The Honor company today officially revealed that the Honor Magic8 Pro Air will feature a flagship main camera with a large sensor, alongside the industry’s first ultra-slim high-resolution periscope telephoto lens and the first-ever Android AI flash with zoom capabilities.
The professional-grade main camera utilizes a 50-megapixel sensor measuring 1/1.3 inches, an f/1.6 aperture, CIPA 5.0 stabilization, and an IR coating that blocks 95% of stray infrared light, thus improving picture quality under all lighting conditions.
For the first time in the sector, a periscope telephoto lens is installed within the ultra-slim body: a 64-megapixel sensor of 1/2 inch, with an f/2.6 aperture, supporting 3.2x optical and up to 100x digital zoom. CIPA 5.0 image stabilization ensures sharpness even at high magnification.
Additionally, Honor has introduced the industry’s first AI zoom flash for Android, covering all focal lengths for portrait photography. The five-lamp configuration delivers a maximum total light output up to 200 lux and illumination consistency of up to 80% across all four corners, producing vivid and balanced pictures in any environment.
