Forward for Madrid’s “Real” Kylian Mbappé scored his 50th goal in Spanish football La Liga matches, reports Opta on social media.
Mbappé distinguished himself in the winning game of the 20th round of the Spanish championship against “Levante” (2:0), converting a penalty.
The French national team striker required 53 matches to reach the milestone of 50 goals within the Spanish championship. This is the second fastest result in the 21st century. Only Cristiano Ronaldo netted 50 goals quicker: the Portuguese needed 51 matches.
In the current season, Mbappé has 19 goals in 19 La Liga games. He is the tournament’s top scorer.
