Realme is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the P series near the end of this month. The initial teaser caused some confusion: it hinted at a device with a robust battery, leading many to guess it concerned the forthcoming P5 series. However, these conjectures proved inaccurate. Francis Wong, the head of Realme’s marketing department, confirmed in his X post that the newcomer belongs to the current P4 lineup and will be named the Realme P4 Power.
The device’s main selling point is its battery. Although Realme has not officially disclosed its capacity, sources suggest the cell will be 10,000 mAh, comparable to a power bank. Even when the charge drops to 3%, the handset can operate for about two hours. The firm also asserts that with typical use, the device will easily last a minimum of 1.5 days, despite weighing around 218 grams.
Realme promises steady gaming performance, consistent FPS, and effective thermal management even when the charge falls to approximately 10%, indicating minimal overheating and no throttling.
Furthermore, the smartphone will feature functions related to charging and enhanced convenience: the Realme P4 Power supports 27W reverse charging, enabling the topping up of other gadgets.
