Graphics cards have already increased in cost and will become even more expensive. Reportedly, MSI has already raised prices for GeForce RTX 50 distributors, and other manufacturers will follow suit.
The resource Commercial Times states that video card suppliers began increasing prices for Radeon adapters about a week ago. Considering that we have already seen a price ascent over the past three weeks, this increase is apparently not yet related to supplier price hikes. Furthermore, MSI has already increased prices on the GeForce RTX 50, and the source anticipates that Asus and Gigabyte will do the same soon. The expected price growth is estimated at 10-15%, even though prices for many cards have already risen by about that much.
Additionally, the resource Benchlife reports that Nvidia recently officially notified graphics card manufacturers about a rise in the cost of memory kits that it supplies to partners along with the GPU. GPU prices, however, did not increase.
