
A collective of activists, disguised in costumes resembling Robin Hood, executed a robbery at a grocery store in Montreal, Canada, as a demonstration against escalating prices, subsequently distributing the pilfered goods to those in need. The individuals participating identify themselves as the “Alley Robins.” The group is estimated to comprise about 60 participants. It has been noted that following their raid on the retail location, they proceeded to deliver the foodstuffs to various distribution centers designated for the city’s impoverished residents.
A comparable initiative was undertaken by them merely a few weeks prior. On that occasion, the activists chose to don the attire of Santa Claus and his elves.
“If holding two jobs is insufficient to cover sustenance, shelter, and familial responsibilities, then every method becomes justifiable,” stated one member of the group in explanation of their conduct.
