The Olympic Games curling competitions were momentarily halted due to issues with the lighting at the arena in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.
The illumination was brought back online following a five-minute delay.
The initial events in Italy commenced today, with the mixed doubles curling tournament kicking off the program.
The official Opening Ceremony for the Games is scheduled for February 6th at the San Siro stadium in Milan. The tournament is set to conclude on the 22nd.
