
Austrian alpine skier Daniel Hemetsberger suffered an unfortunate fall during a downhill training session in preparation for the Olympics.
According to reports from The Sun, the athlete lost his balance and sharply veered into the safety netting. As the Austrian crashed into a gate, his helmet came off during the fall.
Hemetsberger managed to get back on his feet, but blood was visible around his nose and mouth.
The 2026 Olympic Games are scheduled to take place from February 6th to the 22nd in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
