The attainment of a long-sought ambition was chronicled by the renowned American vocalist Mariah Carey as she graced the stage during the inauguration ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Italy.
“This represents the fulfillment of a dream—to perform (in Italian!) at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. My gratitude goes out to everyone who helped make this moment happen,” Carey emphasized on the social media platform X. On Friday, the songstress, clad in a silver gown, delivered a performance of a popular Italian track from 1985.
