
Following the conclusion of the second day of competition at the Winter Games in Italy, the Norwegian team has ascended to the top spot in the overall medal tally. Meanwhile, the host nation, Italy, has slipped to the third position.

Norwegian athletes secured a total of three gold medals, alongside one silver and two bronze decorations. The United States occupies the second rank, having accrued two gold awards so far. The third spot belongs to the Games’ hosts, the Italians, whose current haul includes one gold, two silver, and six bronze medals.
On February 9th, five sets of medals are scheduled to be awarded during the Olympic events. The entire competition is set to wrap up on February 22nd.
