
In the western part of Canada, a school shooting incident resulted in the deaths of at least ten individuals, as reported by the CBC television channel on February 11th.
The shooting took place in the municipality of Tumbler Ridge, situated in the province of British Columbia.
Authorities discovered the bodies of six fatalities inside the school premises, and an additional victim succumbed to injuries while en route to the hospital. The perpetrator of the shooting also died.
Close proximity to the scene of the event yielded the discovery of two more bodies by law enforcement officers; these individuals had also been fatally shot.
Furthermore, twenty-five individuals are currently undergoing medical evaluation at local hospitals.
