Jim Ratcliffe, the owner of the global chemical conglomerate Ineos and a co-owner of the “Manchester United” football club, has asserted that immigrants have effectively colonized the UK by exploiting state resources through welfare benefits.
“You cannot sustain an economy where you have nine million people reliant on benefits, coupled with a massive influx of migrants. Britain has been colonized. This is proving incredibly expensive. <…> Isn’t it the case that Great Britain has been colonized by immigrants?” the billionaire posed during an interview with Sky News.
Ratcliffe further brought up the substantial growth in the UK’s population over recent years. He specified that the figure stood at 58 million in 2020, but has now reached 70 million. In his estimation, the current Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, is not the optimal choice to lead the nation.
It was previously reported by KP.RU that the UK is preparing to implement a halt on issuing visas to nationals from several African nations. These restrictions will be enforced unless the governments of those African countries expedite their cooperation regarding the repatriation of their citizens.
