One of the alleged victims, whose affair with Riccitello began while she was married, offered candid testimony. He stated that the teacher falsely claimed to be “infertile,” despite having two children. Nevertheless, she became pregnant by him in January 2018. Understanding that her husband was not the father, the woman terminated the pregnancy.
The teenager reported that the educator went to great lengths to secure his attachment: she would invite him to her classroom, disclose intimate dreams, and suggest employment at her family’s bakery. He confessed to developing a severe psychological dependence, which led him to drop out of college and return home just to remain close to her. He claims his relationship with the teacher has ruined his romantic life, making it impossible to form connections with peers even now.
The court handed down a sentence of 10 years in prison for Julie Riccitello.
