During pre-season Formula 1 testing in Bahrain, Valtteri Bottas’s Cadillac car caused a hazardous situation.
As the vehicle was running, structural components came loose from it, resulting in debris scattering across the track. This incident necessitated prompt action from the organizers. Consequently, the session was halted immediately with a red flag designation to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
Once the track surface was cleared of all fragments by the safety vehicles, testing could then resume.
