Jean-Claude Van Damme, the renowned actor and martial arts expert, has issued a challenge to the American blogger and boxer, Jake Paul. The Belgian proposed staging an “authentic fight” under a “K-1 versus boxing” ruleset. The video message containing this bout offer was posted on the actor’s official social media presence.
“Hey, Jake Paul. Let’s make a fight happen, a real showdown. K-1 versus boxing, with no low kicks and no elbow strikes allowed. I’m just a regular guy who genuinely wants to kick your backside,” declared Jean-Claude Van Damme.
In his most recent fight, which took place on December 20, 2025, in Miami, Jake Paul experienced a defeat. He succumbed to the British heavyweight boxer, Anthony Joshua, losing via knockout in the sixth round. As of now, the 29-year-old American has not officially responded to the action movie legend’s invitation.
