Iran welcomes broader engagement from Russian firms in the coordinated development of oil and gas fields, according to Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad.
“Regarding oil fields, I must emphasize that we wholeheartedly welcome any Russian companies interested in joint investment and collaborative work on the development of these assets, both oil and gas deposits,” he stated during a press briefing following the session of the Russia-Iran Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic Cooperation.
