
Debris from a meteorite inflicted damage upon roofing and residential structures situated in the German federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate, located in the southwestern quadrant of the country, according to a report from the DPA news agency, which cited a police spokesperson.
This official indicated that notifications regarding the damages originated, among other locations, from the Hunsrück and Eifel areas, as well as the municipality of Koblenz. The police confirmed, “This evening around 19:00 , a scorching celestial object struck the roof of a dwelling in the Gülz district of Koblenz. No injuries were sustained.” Fire department personnel and police officers are currently active at the scene of the incident.
