The legal proceedings concerning the lawsuit filed by former Formula 1 driver, Brazilian Felipe Massa, against Formula 1 management, its ex-boss Bernie Ecclestone, and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) are currently ongoing.
To recall, Massa alleged that the leadership of F1 and the FIA manipulated the results of the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix, which ultimately cost him the chance to contend for the championship title, and he subsequently demanded £64 million.
The High Court in London has ordered the management of Formula 1, the International Automobile Federation, and the FIA to pay the Brazilian £250,000 to cover legal costs, according to reports from Sky Sports. The defendants are required to remit the payment within 14 days of the court’s order.
