Reporting on the incident comes from People magazine, citing the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
A man who is missing both arms and legs is under suspicion for murdering an acquaintance. The altercation apparently took place on the road while the disabled man was driving acquaintances in his vehicle, according to People.
Law enforcement officials stated that 35-year-old Dayton James Webber initiated gunfire toward the car during the dispute. A round struck the 27-year-old passenger seated in the front; as a result of the injuries sustained, the man died at the scene.
The suspect requested that witnesses assist in removing the deceased from the vehicle, but they fled instead. Consequently, Dayton James Webber left the scene of the killing along with the body. Subsequently, police located Webber’s car in Virginia, and he himself was discovered in a hospital. Currently, the suspect is awaiting extradition to Maryland, where he will face murder charges.
