Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alistair Stout—the young actors who portrayed Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley on screen—made a joint public appearance. This took place in London at a gala event marking the launch of HBO Max across the UK and Ireland.
The actors’ reunion coincided with the release of the series’ inaugural trailer, which depicts the characters heading off to their initial term at Hogwarts. Audiences will observe how Harry navigated his relationships with his peers at a typical English school, as well as with his Aunt Petunia Dursley, who persistently attempted to convince her nephew that he was merely an ordinary boy for many years.
The premiere of the first season, based on J.K. Rowling’s book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, is scheduled for December 25, 2026.
