For the winning side, Désiré Doué netted a brace, while Marcus Thuram contributed one goal. On the Colombian side, Jhon Arias scored their sole goal.
Colombian forward Jhon Córdoba, who plays for the Russian club “Krasnodar,” entered the match as a substitute at halftime but did not register any goal contributions.
Both squads are set to participate in the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted across three nations: the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
