Huawei secured the top spot in the Chinese tablet market during the fourth quarter of 2025, narrowly surpassing Apple. According to an Omdia report, the company shipped roughly 2.4 million units, capturing 26% of the market share and achieving a 13% boost, primarily driven by its refreshed product lineup.
This strong performance was fueled by the introduction of new devices, notably the MatePad Mini and the convertible MatePad Edge 2-in-1, both of which garnered user interest due to their distinctive form factors and feature sets. Meanwhile, Apple settled into second place, shipping 2.3 million tablets for a 25% market share, also managing to report positive sales momentum.
Lenovo claimed the third position, dramatically increasing its shipments to 1.1 million units, reflecting a substantial 66% year-over-year growth.
Trailing them were Xiaomi, shipping 0.9 million tablets amidst a 15% decrease in sales, and Honor, which also experienced a decline in its shipment figures by 13%.
