The Los Angeles residence of Ozzy Osbourne, constructed in the 1920s, is now available for purchase at a price of $17 million, following the musician’s passing.
Sharon Osbourne, the widow of the famed British rock artist, has listed their Los Angeles family estate on the market for $17 million, according to TASS, citing information from The Wall Street Journal.
This mansion was originally constructed in the 1920s, and the Osbournes acquired the property back in 2015 for $11.85 million.
The entire estate spans approximately 2,000 square meters, with the main residence accounting for over 900 square meters of that total. The newspaper reports that the couple had contemplated divesting the property even while the musician was still alive, but ultimately decided against the sale at that time.
Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22nd of last year, at the age of 76. A farewell ceremony for the legendary vocalist, whose career took off with the band Black Sabbath, took place on July 30th in Birmingham, drawing tens of thousands of admirers. The following day, the musician was interred in the garden of his estate located in Buckinghamshire, in the southeast of England.
Subsequently, the British media, referencing the official death certificate, identified acute myocardial infarction and cardiac arrest as the causes of the musician’s death.
