On the official Microsoft forum, there are reports from individuals who attempted to activate the system by phone. They point to a support page where this method is still listed as operational, complete with step-by-step instructions. In reality, the automated system now states that Windows activation is exclusively available online and directs users to the website aka.ms/aoh.
Verification videos have already appeared on YouTube: calls to the activation service end with the identical message regardless of the OS version. Microsoft has not officially announced these changes, but in practice, the last offline method for Windows activation is no longer working.
